Barrie & Hibbert appoints Tony Dardis as Head of US Insurance

Tony Dardis has been appointed Head of US Insurance by Barrie & Hibbert, the market leading financial risk consultants and global provider of economic capital management expertise.

In his new role at Barrie & Hibbert’s recently opened New York office, Tony will be a key member of the team led by Craig Turnbull, focussing on enhancing the company’s services for its growing client base in the North American insurance sector.

Tony Dardis has over 25 years’ actuarial experience working in the UK, US, and in South Africa.  For the past 14 years he has worked at Tillinghast, most latterly as manager of its Financial Software business in the Americas, overseeing a team of 30 people leading in areas of risk, capital, and ALM. Prior to this, he worked in the UK for Victory Reinsurance, W.I. Carr Stockbrokers and Cornhill Insurance.
