Andy Frepp, Chief Executive

A graduate in Mathematics, with an MBA and a qualified Actuary, Andy has over 20 years’ experience in the life insurance, asset management and retail financial services industries.
Before joining Barrie & Hibbert, Andy was the Director of Marketing & Distribution for one of the UK’s largest asset managers.
Shona Quigley, Finance Director

Shona has a wealth of experience with over 14 years' as a chartered accountant and 3 years' board level experience. She brings a wealth of broad commercial insight, significant exposure to external financiers and experience of working in a dynamic growing organisation. Shona joined Barrie & Hibbert from Intergen (UK) Limited.
Carol Scambler, HR Director

Carol has over 25 years experience in HR, the vast majority of which has been within Investment Banking and Technology. During her career, Carol has led a number of global HR teams to support business led initiatives around organisational change, performance improvement and talent management.
Carol’s previous roles have been with Morgan Stanley, Schroders, ABN Amro (in London) and subsequently with State Street Bank and IndigoVision (in Edinburgh).
Craig Turnbull, Head of Consultancy

Craig joined Barrie & Hibbert in 2000 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2003. Craig has worked in Insurance and Pensions risk management throughout his Barrie & Hibbert career, developing research and leading consultancy and client support to the global client group.
Craig moved to New York in 2008 and spent three years leading Barrie & Hibbert’s first office outside the UK before returning to Edinburgh and his current role as Head of Institutional Products and Consulting.
Colin Holmes, Technical Services Director

Colin joined Barrie & Hibbert in 2005, after gaining his PhD in Physics. He has worked in a variety of quantitative modelling roles during his time at Barrie & Hibbert, including a period in our New York office, building the modelling team in that region over a period of 18 months. Since returning from New York, Colin spent a period working in our Product Management function. Following this, he moved into his current role in which he has overall responsibility for the firm’s key technical functions, including quantitative modelling and software engineering.
